Natural disasters & Old friends
Its been over six months since I have made any postings on my blog site. Thought I'd start up again. Its been a strange couple of months with all these natural disasters happening everywhere. The worst one without a doubt has to be the Earthquake in Pakistan, then again is there such a thing as a good Natural disaster. I dont think so.
Its poigniant that its happened in the blessed month of Ramadhaan, which is normally a time of introspection and reflection. To look at our deeds and actions, to understand the selfishness of our exisitence. Its easy to give lip service to the needy and make comments like how sad and tragic it is. I think more is needed, I will leave it at that ..... think about it.
I got an email yesterday from Pauric Hanna, who is now living in New York it was really nice to hear from him. finally he married his long time college sweetheart Emma Carey (who will be now known as Emma Hanna). hopefully one day we will meet.
Congratulations on becoming a Dad.
Umar is doing well although he has started to show some very bad tantrums (hopefully its just a phase). Me and him were up late last night watching snooker till midnight. He is fascinated by the green baize and the arrays of colourfull ball that lie on the table.
