A night on the town (Adventures in baby Sitting)

I'm on my lunch break, listening to 'Colorblind' by Darius, what a classic. Reminds me of the month of august getting prepared for marriage ......... yeah time has flown by.

Its apraisal day today, will have that this afternoon, I wonder what he thinks of my performance these last six months has it been up to scratch or not. There is a certain element of fear involved as it brings back memories of my review whilst at Leeds University ...... for those who know me .......... I got enough beats there, lets not go there.

Last night on BBC1 the film 'A night on the Town (I remember it as Adventures in Baby Siting) was shown, starring 'Elizabeth Shue'. Not only is the film funny, sassy and cute. Its a film that evoke memories of when I first saw it on video in 1988. I liked it then and even though its basically a teen movie I still like it now. Elizabeth Shue from that period was mighty fine, I dont know what it is about her that I like, its not like she's the most beautiful actress ever. I guess I have a soft spot for her and her character and personality in that film is just totally awesome. I am like brad (the 14/15 year old boy in the film) who has a teenage crush on her ..... I think i still have a teenage cursh on her .......... sad I know

Umar growing up fast, gets even more active by the day, is making more noises and greater hand and body movements. Finally able to hold on to things now and put them into his mouth. My wifes so overjoyed with him its so nice to see. I think fatherhood really suits me ..............

peace.

Thats what i go to school for

Its been quite some time since I have written anything of substance in my journal. Plenty of things going on in my life some good some not so, just when life seems to be going smoothly you always recieve something that knocks you back a little. I think they call it trials and tribulations.

last night was football night in skipton we lost 7-0. we did well for the first 45 minuties and kept the score to around 2/3 nil. ran out of puff in the end, but after last weeks 16-0 defeat this was a great improvement. I think my own personal fitness leves are getting better, these days when your over thirty it takes a while to get in the swing of things. I better start doing some other activities, thinking about doing some swimming to improve my cardio vascular output. We now have a new player in our side his name is 'gilly' as erfaan likes to call him Gora Gilly yes ....thats right he's a traditional anglo saxon. Seems like a nice lad, definitely improved our passing game.

Umars doing well, chilled with him last night at 1.00 am in the morning, I always feel he's in a better mood with me at night when its all quite. I just have to look at him and he engages back by smiling and even making some baby sounds. he's doing well and it looks like we will be putting him on solids this weekend .......yum yum

thats it for now ........ peace
